@chrisdewolfe I’d like a little insight from our resident baseball guy. Reviewing the video, Vasquez seems like he kinda half-assed it protecting Joe Kelly . I feel like Varitek would have protected his pitcher a little more. Or is it an unwritten rule that if your pitcher plunks a guy intentionally you let the guy he plunked try to take your pitcher’s head off? Props to Joe Kelly for squaring up!
