Attention HomieCast Castmates: The First Ever HomieCast Bourbon š„ Blind Taste-Off
Hereās what I propose-
We each bring a different bottle of bourbon to my house. My lovely Kate pours a small glass of Bourbon A for each of us. We take notes individually and rate them. Ā Then on to the next Bourbon without knowing which Bourbon weāre drinking and we take notes and rate.
In the end Ill compile the notes and reveal which ones we enjoyed the most.
Id like when you buy the 750 ml bottle to take note of the cost so we can include that in the results.
Maybe we can have the guys from Ā @northshorewhiskey come by and tell us things to look for but I kinda want our uneducated results to be unfiltered.

Some Bourbon that I think should be in the discussion: Woodford Reserve, Angelās Envy, Buffalo Trace, Bulleit, Elijah Craig, Knob Creek, Makers Mark, Four Roses.
Being new to it and having tried only five or so I feel like Iām starting to develop certain likes. It will be interesting to see how we all enjoy and rate each bourbon when weāre tasting them blind without knowing the prices or looking at the fancy bottles.
Iām open to suggestions.

Ā The Warriors just won the title last night and every meme on Twitter has zero to do with Golden State and everything to do with where Lebron May end up next year. Ā Ā Franchises and star players are coming out of the woodwork to slurp Lebron in hopes of trying to lure him.

Whatever team he goes to becomes āLebronās Teamā without any other identity. Ā Sports writers will refer to the team with phrases like āCan Lebron beat the Warriorsā not āCan the Celtics beat the Warriorsā
Iād want to puke.
I believe a Celtics team with a healthy Kyrie and Hayward can compete with anyone in the league.
Winning a Championship with Lebron would feel hollow.
In fairness I cringe when sports writers refer to NFL games involving our local squad- āCan Brady beat the Broncosā. Itās totally disrespectful to the other players on the team. Ā This isnāt Bradyās fault obviously, itās just the way it is.
Hard pass on Lebron to Boston. Ā Please donāt give him even a second of time coming to Boston and stroking his already enormous ego when he goes on his āsuck my dongā tour this summer.
